About Marco Gragnoli
Marco was born in Florence on 28th July 1964. He attended the Pontormo High School in Empoli and then graduated in Economics at the University of Florence with a thesis on corporate liquidity management.
After a first experience in a trading company in the leather and fashion sector, during which he had the opportunity to meet his first international colleagues, he obtained the qualification to practice as a chartered accountant and signed up to the order of Florence.
He is Founding Member and Partner of HLB TAXLEX and, through his experiences, he has been able to specialize in particular in the construction and real estate sectors, in the wine industry, hospitality and in the tanning and footwear manufacturing industry. His professional areas of activity range from business consulting to corporate and tax advisory to finance and M&A activities.
Within HLB TAXLEX Marco is the International Contact Partner and deals in particular with the development of the firm’s cross-border activities.
Over the years Marco dealt with numerous companies and has also been a member of the supervisory bodies of both public and private companies.
Since 2017 he is the contact person of the Order of Chartered Accountants of Florence for the Empolese Valdelsa area, a district in the province of Florence that has about 170,000 inhabitants.
From 2019 he is Chairman of HLB Italy and member of the board of HLB International.
Marco is fluent in English and Spanish and he is the husband of Valeria and father of Bianca and Gemma.
